To help you to build a healthier lifestyle so you can perform your activities of daily living to the best of your ability and enjoy a sense of wellbeing.
Group weight management classes.
Each week there is a different topic to enable you to start to manage your weight for life. The programme is not about dieting, but healthy eating, fitness and mental wellbeing all working together to achieve a healthy weight.
Group exercise classes and active social events
These aim to build up a level of fitness that makes performing all your daily activities easier. As your fitness improves, you’ll be encouraged and supported to progress on your fitness journey.
Mental Health First Aid and First Aid Training
Thrive is able to provides mental health first aid for those needing an initial point of contact for mental health concerns.
We also provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
Thrive aims to bring people together in a safe, supportive and caring environment. We encourage our members to respect each other’s individuality but recognize that we all need help at some time in our lives and foster community support so that you don’t feel alone.
